Greystone Design Management Construction team built this Ankora Wall for a residential property in Chilliwack B.C. The Ankora Retaining Wall System was the only wall suitable for this project because of the conflict of existing underground utilities. If a traditional MSE soil–reinforced grid retaining wall was used, existing utilities would need to be temporarily moved, which would add to the overall cost.
Utilizing Ankora’s unique design, utilities remained untouched which reduced construction by two weeks. The owner of the property needed to stabilize the land for a driveway without excavating too much material and taking away valuable square footage.
