The Greystone Design Management Construction Team was hired by the City of White Rock to replace this wooden retaining wall. This wall is crucial to the stability of the properties above and the rotting wood had to be replaced. The first step in the process was site prep, to remove excess greenery and excavate the wooden structure. Once the site was clear, the GDM Construction team installed steel plates for shoring along the hillside and leveled the ground in front in preparation to stack blocks. After stacking the blocks, the team proceeded to backfill the retaining wall and clean up the site.
