Greystone Design Management Construction was hired by the City of White Rock to undertake a vital project: the stabilization of two critical sections along the bustling Marine Drive. Renowned as a lifeline for both vehicular traffic and pedestrians, Marine Drive demanded meticulous attention. Over the span of three months, Greystone Design Management Construction made a lasting impression on the cityscape.
The scope of work was formidable. It encompassed the temporary removal of the existing curb and sidewalk, the precise installation of steel pipes, the meticulous construction of reinforced concrete grade beams, and the rehabilitation of the road subgrade and structures.

Dividing their efforts between the West and East Stabilization Zones, the GDM Construction team demonstrated their expertise. The West Stabilization area, spanning approximately 50 meters, required a reinforced concrete grade beam bolstered by 31 steel pipe plies. Meanwhile, the East Stabilization, spanning an impressive 70 meters, demanded the installation of 42 steel pipe piles. With precision and expertise, the team ensured the seamless reinstatement of both sidewalk and curb, culminating in a project that not only stabilized Marine Drive but also elevated its resilience and longevity.
