The crew is back at Bateman Park in Abbotsford to tackle another bridge replacement, repairing damage caused by the 2021 floods. Since completing our first bridge repair at Bateman Park in November 2023, the community has been eagerly awaiting this next phase of restoration. We’re proud to announce that our team completed the project in just two weeks, ensuring the bridge was safely reopened for public use as quickly as possible. With the trail serving as a vital link between neighborhoods, residents are excited to enjoy this beautiful green space once again fully.
GDM Construction took on the full scope of work, including reinstating the trail, installing riprap along the stream banks for erosion protection, setting up the bridge framework, and finishing with the decking and railings. We are thrilled to help reconnect the community and restore safe access to this popular trail network.
