The City of Abbotsford has enlisted Greystone Design Construction to repair and revitalize the Clayburn Creek Trail and Auguston Creek Trail, two popular pathways cherished by local residents. These trails have suffered significant damage, with multiple sections completely washed out, posing safety concerns and rendering portions of the paths inaccessible.
To ensure the trails are stabilized for long-term use, Greystone Design Construction, in collaboration with Greystone Stabilization Solutions, will deploy skilled crews to undertake the comprehensive restoration project. The work will be carried out in three critical phases:
- Clearing Debris: Teams will first remove fallen trees, loose rocks, and other debris to create a clean and safe workspace for the repair process.
- Slope Stabilization: Advanced stabilization techniques will be employed to reinforce the vulnerable slopes adjacent to the trails, preventing future erosion and ensuring the structural integrity of the surrounding terrain.
- Path Reinstatement: Finally, the trails will be reconstructed and resurfaced to restore them to their original condition, making them safe and enjoyable for public use once again.
This collaborative effort is a crucial step toward restoring these cherished community assets while prioritizing safety and sustainability for the future.
